We support children and teens in enhancing their natural ability to regulate emotions and behavior, heal from trauma, embrace innate positive sense of self, communicate effectively, deepen connections, adjust to changes, and utilize meaningful problem-solving.  Our approach is compassionate, youth-centered, and mindful of varying needs at each developmental stage.  Therapy looks different for each child or teen, but some techniques that we have found time and time again to be incredibly effective include EMDR, play therapy, creative art-based techniques, mindfulness, and body-based strategies such as yoga, deep breathing and muscle relaxation. Individual therapy is offered in an office setting or via a secure telehealth platform, based on needs and preferences. Therapy is a safe space for all individuals to express themselves fully and genuinely, and we welcome and embrace diversity and inclusion.
